Festival Introduction

Brandon '86 Rotary and Rotary member John Sullivan of Winthrop Village, had a vision of an annual Fine Arts and Fine Crafts Festival, that would be further inspired by local artists Bryant Martinez and James Coleman.  The community-at-large, including budding artists and children, were not aware of exhibits, performances, and educational opportunities. John Sullivan and the Rotary Club of Brandon '86 realized that a unifying organization could bring the arts to Brandon in a productive and inspiring way. They believed that an organization such as Brandon '86 Rotary presenting the Winthrop Arts Festival would improve the quality of life of every Greater Brandon area resident.
